Opportunity Snapshot:
Compensation: $32-40/hour, depending on experienceLocation: Jal, NM or Monahans, TXWork Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+ Assignment Duration: 6 months+Benefits: Comprehesive insurance, 401(k), PTO and holidays Responsibilities Responsible for performing corrective & preventative maintenance on I&E systems as analytical equipment, control elements, SCADA systems, advanced hardware (computers, telemetry & etc.), logic networks and other related equipment associated typically in the processing, fractionation, storage and transportation of natural gas liquidsAssist in the installation and configuration of control systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), remote terminal unit (RTU), and human-machine interfaces (HMIs)Maintains good working relationships with Client's production, midstream, and water groupsPerform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on control systems to ensure reliable and efficient operationAssist in the testing and commissioning of new control systemsRead and interpret technical documentation such as electrical and pneumatic schematics, loop drawings, and control narrativesCollaborate with other automation team members and cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issuesParticipate in safety meetings, safety audits, and safety programs to ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocolsDocument and maintain records of control system configuration changes, maintenance activities, and equipment inventoryStay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends in automation systems Qualifications 1-5 years of experience in an industrial automation environment, preferably in the oil and gas industryAvailable for on-call schedule rotationFamiliarity with industrial control systems, such as PLCs, RTU, and HMIsAbility to read and interpret technical documentationStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailGood communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentKnowledge of safety regulations and protocolsGood driving record requiredPosition will be filled at a level commensurate with experienceHigh School diploma or equivalent required
