Clean Harbors is searching for a licensed, reliable and safety oriented **I&E Technician** to join our **Deer Park, TX** team! The **Electrical and Instrumentation Technician** will be responsible for performing hands-on instrument checks, calibrations, and PLC Ladder Logic, along with diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the electrical and maintenance departments with various tasks as needed.

+ Troubleshoots instrument and control malfunctions
+ Performs preventative maintenance checks and calibrations
+ Maintains accurate records and logs as required
+ Installs new system controls (including power wiring)
+ Installs cabling, power distribution systems, and motor control centers
+ Services and replaces motors and lighting
+ Performs general electrical maintenance
+ Other duties as assigned
**What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?**
+ HS Diploma OR Equivalent required
+ Required - Texas Journeyman Electrician License OR equivalent from another state
+ PLC Ladder Logic
+ VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) Programming knowledge preferred
+ Experience reading blueprints, and electronic schematics
+ Proficiency reading process and instrumentation diagrams (PIDs)
+ Knowledge of Data Control Systems (DCS)
+ Experience with 480v and below
+ Lift up 50lb, climbing ladders, stooping, bending, standing for long periods of time
+ Must be able to work in all weather conditions
