We are seeking an experienced I&E Technician to support our Osceola, AR facility which is comprised of two air separation (ASU) plants, two hydrogen plants (PHG). The site supports Big River Steel (Steel Mill Customer) as well as regional merchant gas business. Some regional travel required (20% -30%).

The candidate will also be responsible for leading electrical power distribution systems maintenance activities, assisting other maintenance personnel in developing inspection/repair scopes and write/update procedures as needed. Working with the site and engineering teams to drive towards solutions.
The job will entail day to day routine, emergency, and major maintenance, reading and comprehension of circuits/prints/P&ID’s/schematics/technical manuals.
Required Skills / Abilities:
Calibrate manufacturing instrumentation according to procedures.Perform routine PMs on manufacturing and building equipment.Trouble shoot PLC equipment.Assist other maintenance techs with assigned tasks.Complete instrument tracking documentation.Complete required safety tasks and activities.Develop procedures for instrument calibrations and preventive maintenance tasks.Support facility operations by completing assigned work orders.Must be willing to work overtime as required, and willing to take 24-hour on call responsibilities on a rotating basis.Occasional travel to support other regional production plants and generated gas plants.This is a safety sensitive position.Minimum Hiring Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).Technical degree and/or completion of an apprenticeship program, trade school diploma or certificate is a plus.5 years minimum of industrial maintenance experience working on instrumentation & electrical equipment, and calibration in a chemical, petrochemical, refinery, or plastic plant or 3 years minimum of experience with a technical degree.Analyzer experience a plus. Siemens DCS experience a plusSAP knowledge highly desired but not required.Applicable military training will be considered equivalent to industrial experience.Strong mechanical skills.Proficient communication and computer skills.Demonstrated commitment to quality workmanship and flexibility in job assignments.Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and climb ladders.Able to work in a team environment.Work Hours
