Are you ready to join our team as an I&E Technician and make a significant impact in the oil and gas industry? As a contractor, you will have the opportunity to work full-time from 03-Feb-2025 to 31-Dec-2025 in Dickinson, North Dakota, United States.
Role Overview
Assist in the installation, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of field automation systems, SCADA equipment, and communications systems. Maintain a high focus on safety, health, and environment while working onsite. Commission new production facilities and perform maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment such as Guided Wave Radar, Recycle Pump Motors, Chemical Pumps, Burner Management Systems, ESD Actuators, High Level Switches, Pressure Transmitters, and Liquid and Gas Metering Equipment. Monitor and make minor modifications to PLC's - ROC/Allen Bradley. Install and maintain artificial lift systems including gas lift compression, ESP, and rod lift solutions. Utilize SAP PM and Click to ensure appropriate maintenance data collection. Complete special projects as assigned and perform PSSR's on all new installations and major maintenance work. Train new hires and current employees on instrumentation and control systems.Skills & Qualifications
Proficient in Allen-Bradley, instrumentation, SCADA, PLC, artificial lift, and instrument & controls. Experience with SCADA equipment, communications systems, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance. Knowledge of automation software and oil and gas process instrumentation systems. Familiarity with guided wave radar, recycle pump motors, chemical pumps, burner management systems, ESD actuators, high level switches, pressure transmitters, and liquid and gas metering equipment. Hands-on experience with PLC's - ROC/Allen Bradley and artificial lift systems.Education & Experience
Education: Certificate or degree in instrumentation and control preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in oil and gas field operations with hands-on experience in automation devices. Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using ROC Link, Emerson programming tools, Crimson, Level Master Configurator, Radar Master Configurator preferred.Pay & Benefits
