Clean Harbors is searching for a reliable and safety oriented I&E Maintenance Technician with an excellent mechanical aptitude to join our team!
The **Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Technician** will be responsible for performing hands-on instrument checks, calibrations, and PLC Logic programming, along with diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the electrical and maintenance departments with various tasks as needed.

+ Troubleshoots instrument and control malfunctions
+ Performs preventative maintenance checks and calibrations
+ Maintains accurate records and logs as required
+ Installs new system controls (including power wiring)
+ Installs cabling, power distribution systems, and motor control centers
+ Services and replaces motors and lighting
+ Performs general electrical maintenance
+ On Call required
+ Other duties as assigned
**What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?**
+ HS Diploma or Equivalent
+ 3-5 years combined of plant experience
+ Instrument and/or electrical training, degree, or certification preferred
+ Mechanically inclined
+ Journeyman Electrician License is a plus
+ 1+ years experience in DCS systems preferred
+ 1+ years VFD programming experience preferred
+ Proficient in reading blueprints, electronic schematics and PID’s (process instrumentation diagrams)
+ 480v experience preferred
+ Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stand stoop, climb and work at heights
