Job Description:
-Lead and perform structure assessment, optimization and examination of the drawings for wet segment ship type in accordance with the latest BV rules, international regulations, including oil/chemical tankers, gas carriers, LNG Bunkering ship, LCO2 Carriers, ammonia carriers, asphalt carriers etc.
-Lead and perform structure assessment, optimization for independent tanks.
- Manage JDP/AIP project and optimization project for wet segment ship type.
-Attend and present the project deliverables to external clients with good visual content (presentation), keep good communication with clients.
-Promote BV’s image and services actively. Promote advisory services to shipyards and design institutes.
-Promote and develop JDP/AIP cooperation projects.
-Promotes ATRC capabilities, technical expertise and services.
-Generate/consolidate good presentations for wet ship type and present it to clients. Take part in industry workshops, forums, events and exhibitions.
-Provide technical support to clients.
Requirements:
-Master Degree in Naval Architecture and/or Ocean Engineering;
-Minimum 8 years’ relevant engineering experience especially for the Oil tankers and Gas Carries.
-Good knowledge on oil tanker or gas carrier.
-Having experience on ship design for general ship performance and hull structural strength, including finite element analysis, experience as project leader for hull structure design is preferred.
-Good understanding of the Classification Rules, International regulations and code.
-Good command of oral and written English
-Good team player and ability to work under pressure and independently Responsible and diligent
