IAM Developer – Azure Entra & Cloud Platforms
CTG is seeking to fill an IAM Developer – Azure Entra & Cloud Platforms opening for our client in Dallas, TX. Location: Dallas, TX Duration: 8 months Duties: Azure Entra ID Management: Design, configure, and maintain Azure Entra ID for user authentication, SSO, and MFA. Implement and manage conditional access policies, identity governance, and privileged identity management (PIM). Integrate Azure Entra ID with on-premises Active Directory and third-party applications. Monitor and troubleshoot Entra ID-related issues to ensure high availability and security. Developer IAM Support: Implement IAM solutions tailored for developer workflows, including RBAC and application-level access management. Manage service principals, managed identities, and API permissions for developer applications in Azure. Collaborate with development teams to secure APIs, microservices, and DevOps pipelines. Enable secure CI/CD integration with Azure Entra ID for authentication and authorization. Azure Cloud Security: Enforce IAM security best practices across Azure resources. Manage Azure Key Vault for storing credentials, secrets, and certificates. Ensure compliance with standards like ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR. Conduct audits and risk assessments of IAM configurations. Collaboration and Documentation: Partner with cloud architects, developers, and security engineers to align IAM strategy with business needs. Document IAM configurations, policies, and procedures. Train developers on Entra ID and IAM best practices. Skills: Expertise in Azure Entra ID, SSO, MFA, conditional access, and identity governance. Deep knowledge of Azure IAM, RBAC, service principals, and managed identities. Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python for IAM automation. Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML. Strong understanding of DevOps tools like Terraform and GitLab for pipeline security. Experience: 7+ years of IT experience, with 3+ years focused on Azure Entra ID. Proven track record in developer IAM environments using service principals and managed identities. Experience with Azure services (VMs, VNets, Blob Storage, Key Vault, ARM templates, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Network Watcher). Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field—or equivalent professional experience. Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate Other relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
