IAM Engineer
Job Description Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled IAM Engineer with a specialization in vaulting to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our identity and access management (IAM) solutions, with a particular focus on secure vaulting practices. This role is critical in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization's sensitive information and systems. Key Responsibilities: Design and Implement Vaulting Solutions: Develop and deploy secure vaulting solutions to manage and protect sensitive credentials, secrets, and tokens. IAM System Management: Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of IAM systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure. Access Control: Implement robust access control mechanisms, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and role-based access control (RBAC), to safeguard the company's digital assets. Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to identity and access management. Incident Response: Monitor and respond to security incidents related to IAM and vaulting, conducting thorough investigations and implementing corrective actions. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and development, to integrate IAM solutions into various applications and services. Documentation and Training: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IAM processes and provide training to internal teams on best practices. Skills and Requirements Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in identity and access management, with a focus on vaulting solutions. Technical Skills: Proficiency in IAM technologies such as Okta, and AWS IAM. Strong understanding of authentication protocols, including OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect. This person will also need expertise in the use and administration of CyberArk. Programming Skills: Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash. Security Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of security best practices, encryption, and key management.
