JOB DESCRIPTION
The Identity & Access Management Operations Administrator will fulfill the security requests of the organization. The IAM Ops Administrator will work within a team to deliver on access requests, applications access requests, and other identity-related requests.
Major Responsibilities:
• Creation and removal of identities on our AS400, ACF2, RACF, Active Directories, Office365, Exchange, Unix, and Linux platforms
• Perform audit-related activities which include change of access, access removal, and provide proper evidence of the task completion
• Advise users on the correct intake process if an out of band request is received.
• Work on incident tickets related to identity and access issues.
• This includes resolving user issues where the loss of access occurs, severity problem tickets, and standard user issues
• Work closely with the automation team to advise on common problems and routine processes that need to be taken from manual to automation
• Continually enhance intake request forms, process, and closure procedures to remove inefficiencies from the process
• Perform knowledge transfer sessions when receiving new work or training others to remove work
• Working from a Service Now queue, effectively update tickets and close tickets according to pre-determined SLAs.
• Monitor any related mailboxes for user inquiries or requests.
• Work on bulk identity tasks and determine the appropriate way to fulfill requests.
• Communicate and escalate any issues where clarity is needed with team manager
• Document and update knowledge base articles to ensure all processes are standardized and kept up to date
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science or a related work experience performing system administrator responsibilities Must have experience working across multiple platforms as listed above 3+ years working with end-users to complete requests and troubleshoot incidentsRequired Skills
Solid understanding of Windows AD, Azure, Windows Exchange, O365, Web Services, UNIX, RACF and ACF2 Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills Basic knowledge of relational databases, database schemas, and data structures as well as some understanding of scripting languages (PowerShell, Java, Python, etc) Strong initiative; self-starter; self-directed; ability to multi-task Strong Customer Service, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills Must be fluent in English Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills. Advanced excel preferable.
