Job description
We are currently seeking a skilled IAM/PAM Engineer F/M/X for Directory Services to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) environments. They will play a critical role in ensuring the security, availability, and scalability of directory services, which form the foundation of the organization’s identity and access management framework.
🔥 Responsibilities:
• Design, deploy, and manage secure and scalable Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) environments.
• Develop and enforce policies for directory services in alignment with organizational security and compliance requirements, including GDPR and HIPAA.
• Collaborate with Identity and Access Management (IAM) teams, ensuring seamless integration of directory services with Identity Lifecycle Management, Privileged Access Management (PAM), Certificate Services, and other IAM tools.
• Implement automation scripts and tools to streamline directory management tasks, including domain provisioning and optimization of OU structure and site provisioning.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external security regulations by monitoring, auditing, and mitigating directory service risks.
• Provide technical guidance and support to managed service teams, acting as the escalation point for complex directory service issues.
• Document directory service architectures, processes, and policies, and deliver training to support teams and relevant collaborators.
🎯 Your Profile:
• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• You have proven experience in the design, implementation, and management of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory environments.
• You possess strong knowledge of security principles and compliance frameworks, including GDPR and HIPAA.
• You are skilled in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell or other relevant technologies.
• You have excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
• You are effective in collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing external vendors or managed service providers.
• Ideally, you hold relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, CISSP, Certified Azure Administrator Associate).
• You are fluent in English and ideally in German as well
