Responsibilities

This role is an exciting opportunity to be a critical part of the Enterprise Security IAM team that is implementing Role Based Access Controls (RBAC) across the organization.  Reporting to the Director, Identity and Access Management, (IAM) Analyst will be responsible for overseeing and developing processes for Ascension’s RBAC implementation.

 

Responsibilities:

Facilitate and work with Human Resources(HR) and Local Market resources to analyze the needs of users and group them into roles based on common job responsibilities.Develop and document processes and responsibilities for role maintenancePlanning for periodic reviews and certification of roles with HR and Market stakeholdersDefine strategy and process for Assigning roles to usersDefine strategy and process for Managing user access rightsEnsure all processes account for Segregation of Duties(SOD) and Protect sensitive dataLeads review of, analyzes, and creates detailed documentation of IAM processes, including workflows and steps required to maintain and minimize security impactsDocument procedures, policies, and controls for work with in scope of this positionOrganizing and making documentation easily accessibleEnsuring content quality through editing and analysisResearches end-user access related problems and provides accurate resolution to the user community in a timely and effective mannerAdvises management on information security policies, standards, procedures, security violations and security risksLeading and organizing project team meetings using Agile methodology and processesFacilitate conversations with stakeholders on risks, their impact and how well they are managed in a clear, timely and structured mannerAssist in managing multiple deliverables in line with team prioritiesBe the link between users and technical development teams

 

Basic Qualifications

Minimum 2 or more years of experience in a highly regulated healthcare environment with dedicated security administration and security management functions.Minimum 2 years’ experience with Electronic medical record access protocols.Experience with user provisioning technologies, application and/or database security administration.Demonstrated knowledge and experience implementing IAM workflows and automation using industry best practice concepts.Understanding of user administration procedures.Excellent time and project management skills, customer service and interpersonal skills, and communication (written and oral) are critical for success in this position.Excellent Teamwork and Communication Skills.Knowledge of and experience with AD administration and IAM systems Knowledge of ITIL processes

 


Requirements

Education:

 

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
