Join our Integrated Behavioral Health Team at the Coborn Healing Center to make a significant impact on the lives of Central Minnesotans. We provide comprehensive outpatient diagnostic assessments and treatment services to patients and families facing behavioral health and medical needs. Recognizing that cancer treatment and recovery can be profoundly challenging, our goal is to support not just physical healing but also emotional and psychological well-being, helping individuals feel whole, resilient, and strong throughout their journey.

Part-time position available at the Coborn Healing Center Future opportunity to combine this part-time position with an Adult Behavioral Health outpatient position 2 days a week, 8a-5p Part-time benefits package medical & dental, retirement, etc. No nights, holidays, weekends or call
Coborn Healing Center
The Coborn Healing Center provides a central location for a variety of cancer-related services for the mind, body and spirit. Here is a sampling of what we offer:
Art and music therapy for self-exploration and emotional support Therapeutic treatments like acupuncture, massage, and Reiki, plus personalized wig-fitting and skincare tips Classes, workshops, and retreats for caregivers, with coordination with our Palliative Care team if needed Emotional support, grief/bereavement assistance, and access to our Reflection Garden for relaxation and renewal
Position Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with CentraCare’s Coborn Cancer Center team as part of the interdisciplinary treatment team. Provide diagnostic, psychological, or biopsychosocial evaluation and execute therapeutic treatment toward defined goals. Provide clinical interventions to include individual, marital, couples, family and group therapy & education to adults and children. Responsibilities as a IBH Psychologist in the Coborn Healing include triaging urgent needs from community members and providing intervention in same day crisis situations. May assist in staff development through consultation, education and supervision as well as assist in program development. The psychologist works to strengthen motivation and commitment to specific change goals through a collaborative, goal-oriented style of communication using motivational interviewing and evidence-based psychotherapy.Qualifications:
This practice location requires either MN LGSW (Licensed Graduate Social Worker) or MN LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) or MN Licensed Psychologist due to Medicare Provider needed.
Successful candidates will have training, experience, and interest in outpatient assessment, medical knowledge, crisis intervention skills, psychotherapy and teamwork. Preferred candidates will have knowledge and/or experience in behavioral health within a healthcare setting.
PSYCHOLOGIST
PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology is required. Minimum of one-year experience is required. Completion of post-doc training year prior to start date preferred Licensure by the State of Minnesota Board of Psychology as Licensed Psychologist (LP).
PSYCHOTHERAPIST
Master’s Degree in Social Work is required. Minimum of one-year experience is required. Licensure by the State of Minnesota Board of Social Work at Independent Clinical level (LICSW) required.
