Job Description:
Arrow is seeking an IBM Technical Engineer to provide technical knowledge and tailored solutions to our channel partner community in North America. As a Technical Engineer, you will be accountable for delivering system designs and configurations and overseeing day-to-day technical account-level activities. You will be responsible for architecting solutions for channel partners within your assigned technology focus area. The successful candidate will have knowledge of IBM Power Systems and knowledge across modern infrastructure and adjacent technologies.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Provides technical support and guidance to channel partners and sales staff with pre-sales activities on behalf of Arrow’s supplier IBM.Leads in the analysis, design, and refinement of technology solutionsDemonstrates knowledge on IBM Power systems, networking, and cloud servicesKeeps up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and the competitive landscapeDevelop and propose solutions that meet the technology and business requirements of assigned channel partners and their end usersServes as a trusted technology adviser to channel partners and serve as an internal Arrow resource on technical plays or specific business applications and outcomes within an assigned market segmentSuccessfully builds relationships with the Arrow account team, partners and end users in support of sales objectives; engages and leverages Arrow horizontal resources, abilities, budgets and personnel as appropriateParticipate in IBM technical sales calls with and on behalf of channel partnersQualifies IBM sales opportunities to meet end customer technical requirementsWhat We Are Looking For:
Typically requires 5–7 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experienceAbility to prioritize and meet deadlinesResults drivenEntrepreneurial mind setBusiness and sales acumenStrong organizational and interpersonal abilitiesCustomer focusedRequires knowledge and experience with IBM solutions for Power systems.Industry certifications and/or experience with modern infrastructure/cloud/AI solutionsAbility to conduct effective presentations and/or trainingsExperience with IBM tools especially IBM configurator (eConfig)Work Arrangement:

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:$48,741.67 - $66,000.00 MXN MonthlyActual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
