BM z/OS Application Developer (Must have REXX development skills) - IT3
This resource will report to the SSA Validation and Testing team and will be responsible for the planning, execution, problem resolution, and re-execution as required and, of Validation test cycles. Metrics and reporting to the customer on the outcome of said testing. Maintain and developing new code (JCL,REXX,) as required.
Skills Requirements:
Candidate must have at least 11yrs exp. Expert REXX skills are critical.
-Experience in IBM z/OS (OS/390/MVS) application development, production control, or job scheduling. z/OS (IBM mainframe) experience with JCL, TSO, ISPF.
-Experience developing and maintaining JCL and related entities for application software systems.
-DB2 (SQL) programming experience to enable analysis of code written by others.
-Strong REXX and/or CLIST experience to automate job processing.
-Experience with Control-M or other mainframe-based job scheduling tools.
-Experience with mainframe-based software configuration management systems such as ENDEVOR.
-Experience with Fileaid/RDX
--Experience in an industry accepted SDLC.
