Essential Functions:
Perform Cycle Counts on all types of locations within the expected guidelines for accuracy and productivity.Learn how to fix each possible Inventory issue that may occur.Fix any problems encountered, whether encountered during tasking or incidentally.Perform all types of Audits and fix all noted problems.Learn functions of other departments involved in Inventory Movements and how to audit and fix errors.Correctly complete all required paperwork and reporting.Operate equipment within safety guidelines at all times.Report observations of employees violating safety or other procedures.Report all safety issues encountered.Audit locations counted by other Inventory Control Equipment Operators for accuracy and correctly report findings.Gather information and input data into computer for department reporting, including all special logs, lists, and databases.Prepare/distribute department reporting.Perform research in different software platforms/systems.Monitor/troubleshoot transactions on systems to correct issues or to identify conditions that need to be addressed. Correct, advise, and/or produce reporting as instructed.Monitor emails, research, and respond to requests in a prompt/professional manner.Assist Inventory Control Analyst as necessary.Perform other Inventory Control Duties as necessary.Perform other general duties as necessary.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate ideas clearly, and compose professional emails.Excellent multitasking, task prioritization, flexibility in the face of changing priorities, all while consistently producing high-quality work and meeting deadlines.Education, Experience and Required Skills:
Experience in comparable Distribution environment required (ex. Receiving)Inventory Control Experience PreferredGood analytical and math skills requiredProficient in using PC, WMS platforms, and MS Office suiteProficient in data entry, preferred up to 75 WPMIntegrity and good work habits requiredAbility to work with minimal supervisionAbility to sit/stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs.CAL OSHA certified on Reach, Turret, Picker, and Walker RiderPay Range $20 - $21 an hour
