JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The Business Unit Representative – Management Reporting and FP&A will serve as the key liaison between the Business Unit (BU) and the central finance project team. This role ensures that financial planning, reporting, and analysis processes are accurately integrated into the new ERP system while maintaining global standardization. The position is instrumental in driving financial transformation, ensuring compliance, and aligning financial data and reporting structures across all business units.

This position is part of a large-scale ERP implementation project, with a duration of approximately 2.5–3 years.

Business Unit Representatives cover one of the following BUs:

1.             Europe

2.             Asia

3.             METSA (Middle East, Turkey, South Asia)

4.             Americas

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Unit Representation & Financial Process Alignment:Act as the primary representative of the BU for all FP&A and management reporting discussions.Ensure BU financial planning and reporting requirements are reflected in the ERP implementation and financial data structure.Collaborate with MR and FP&A project teams to develop and implement forecasting, budgeting, and performance monitoring / reporting frameworks.ERP Implementation & Data Integration:Work closely with IT and Finance teams to integrate FP&A processes into the ERP system.Assist in data migration, validation, and reconciliation to ensure financial data accuracy post-go-live.Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency in financial planning and reporting.Compliance & Governance:Support implementation of financial controls and compliance frameworks within the ERP system.Ensure adherence to global financial governance while addressing local business needs.Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:Serve as the bridge between the Business Unit, MR and FP&A teams, and also IT teams to ensure seamless ERP implementation.Work closely with the FP&A Lead and Global Finance Process Owners to represent business unit needs.Develop and maintain a Change Network across all regions to facilitate smooth adoption of new financial planning processes.Test, Validate, and Optimize:Participate in ERP system testing and validation, ensuring proper financial reporting structures.Identify potential gaps and propose enhancements for process optimization.Support training and knowledge-sharing initiatives to ensure a successful transition to the new ERP system.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.5+ years of experience in FP&A, management reporting, or financial planning.Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar).Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.Experience in ERP transformation and financial process standardization is a plus.Technical & Analytical Skills:Strong understanding of management reporting structures and planning & budgeting processes.Ability to analyze financial data and drive continuous process improvements.Familiarity with automation tools and digital finance solutions.Collaborative Leadership:Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work across functions and influence key stakeholders.Experience in working within a fast-paced, evolving business environment.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $141,680 to $212,520. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. 

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. 

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
