BUSINESS CONTEXT AND MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This role will lead the business for Cornetto brand in China, with an aggressive agenda for growth and profitability. It will be responsible to develop the growth strategy and solutions for Cornetto across China, the long-term Brand Performance Plan.
We need an experienced brand crafter, 6+ years’ experience developing mixes and comms, with prior experience in Foods& Beverage and ideally in China. It would be a plus for the candidate to have experience in Ice Cream.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing planning:
- Lead Cornetto brand activation crafting and development & build tailor growth model for channels/activations/social/media, via deeply understanding external market & consumers
- Adapt Cornetto Asia Master Brand Plan into local market BMP
- Responsible for the brand P&L & help drive consistent growth and profitability of the brand
Lead IMCs & deployment:
- Lead brand campaign/activations, (esp. EC, O2O channel, new retail, CVS), with the full scope of campaign planning, asset production, media strategy, social, content, celebrity, and omni-channel visibility POSM.
- Lead IP collaborations from exploration, concept development, to campaign landing
- Accountable for the post-launch analysis of brand & IMCs performance. Identify solutions and make recommendations to improve brand/IMCs performance if needed
- Manage brand & marketing investment effectively
Performance and Growth Management:
- Constantly auditing the performance to improve metrics on Market Share, Distribution, Promo intensity, API for growth.
-Always-on monitor daily sales performance and sell-in progress; Analyze competitors’ brand & product performance, support to deliver fight back actions if needed
Local China Big Bet:
- 6P Owner of local innovation project and deliver OTIF. If it’s a licensing project, working on the licensing agreement.
-Delivering BIG BET’s; brand experience toolkit, including comms, packs, POS, TSS. Ensuring competitiveness in SC costs for BIG BET and increase efficiency in source/make/move/plan to drive profitable growth.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
REQUIRED
Previous experience in Brand Mix Development is essentialProven track record in crafting Innovations, communications & brand engagement as well as previous experience in beauty is preferrable.Medium and Long term innovation and communications experience – crafting mixes from intuition and insight, requesting resource, developing project teams and networks to deliver new product benefits, claims and demonstrations of proof. Lead interdisciplinary teams across functions: CMI to maximize consumer impact, Supply Chain to expedite capabilities and maximize efficiency, Claims & Legal to develop and support superiority claims, Finance to build profitable business cases, Packaging and Creative agencies.Ability to make things happen at the fast pace of China markets, from early signals, trends to product in market ~6mths.Inspire, energize and develop your reports, other functional reports and project teamsAbility to work as part of virtual teams overcoming the geographical and cultural differences with the key markets of focus.
