AM Shift Hours: 7:00 am - 7:30 pmShift Pattern: 2/2/3

Base Pay rate $26.68 - $30.55 with an additional $0.50 shift adjustment for the 12 shift assignments​ | Weekly Pay Periods

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

The Maintenance Technician I / II will maintain, monitor, and repair facilities/manufacturing equipment to ensure their reliable and safe operation

Plan, perform and/or oversee preventive maintenance on equipment

Plan and perform routine system evaluations of mechanical equipment, identifying performance trends or issues and recommending course of action

Resolve equipment malfunctions by evaluating performance breakdowns, identifying root cause and taking corrective action

Design and fabricate changes to equipment to enhance process performance

Interpret and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations on projects

Participate on project teams comprised of Engineering, R&D personnel, contractors and vendors to introduce new processes and/or equipment

Draft procedures and manuals for preventive maintenance of process systems and equipment

Ensure compliance with GMPs and safety policies while planning and completing projects

Ensure that our required safety practices are being followed at all times by contractors performing work

Active participation and development in WCM methodology

Develop and conduct training modules

All other assigned duties

In addition, there will be exposure to allergens, including but not limited to dairy, eggs, tree nuts, coconut, peanuts, wheat (gluten), soybean and cinnamon.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

Must have high school diploma or equivalent

Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills required

Welding and fabricating skills strongly preferred

Knowledge of regulatory codes sufficient to ensure compliance with industry and company standards

Basic project management skills sufficient to effectively work cross-functionally with other departments to adhere to timelines

Experience working in a maintenance shop, using power tools, bench tools, and other various machinery

Willingness to work on the manufacturing floor--to be exposed to mechanical operations and cleaning/caustic solutions

Basic computer skills; including ability to utilize email and MS Excel and to access work orders

Required to occasionally lift 50 lbs
