JOB PURPOSE: 

Ice Cream is undergoing a transformation to make a simpler, faster, and focused organization. This transformation will accelerate performance improvement and strengthen capabilities to deliver its strategic priorities. We are looking for a highly skilled Technology Process Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and optimizing industrial processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety of our products and processes. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure that processes meet regulatory standards and align with company goals.  

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE?

Process Design: Develop and design processes for manufacturing or production, ensuring they are efficient and cost-effective.  

Optimization: Analyse existing processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance productivity and reduce waste.  

Troubleshooting: Investigate process failures and implement corrective actions to resolve issues.  

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.  

Project management  

Supporting BGs and SUs to develop the project Business Cases.  

Ensuring project scope is communicated to relevant global and BU  

stakeholders with their responsibilities.  

Consolidating project risks, issues and changes, (if applicable) communicating  

the impact to stakeholders.  

Coordinating global and BU subject matter experts to resolve technical issues,   

to reduce the project risks, to increase the saving impact of projects.  

Data Analysis: Analyse logistics data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.  

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of process designs, modifications, and performance metrics.  

Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with safety and environmental regulations.  

Training: Provide training and support to staff on new processes and technologies.  

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and distribution, to ensure seamless operations. Manage the communications internally in the working team and externally with key stakeholders    

  

EXPERIENCE YOU SHOULD HAVE/THE QUALITIES WE LOOK FOR

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS:  

Professional skills: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Foods engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.  

Experience: Proven experience in process engineering or a related role is required. Strong manufacturing operation experience and continuous improvement knowledge.  

Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in process simulation software, and excellent communication abilities.  

Experience of programme coordination.  

Experience of working within in structured project portfolio management framework.  

Experience with Project Management methods, and tools.  

Effective communication skills, written and verbal.  

Travel: as per job requirement.
