JOB PURPOSE

If you are new product development to play a key role in supporting the Regional R&D team by identifying opportunities to meet consumer needs better and drive profitable growth for Unilever's business, then this role is just for you!
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Supporting technical management and product development of innovationMaintain effective and timely communication of project status with business partners.Generates ideas by investigating new and alternative materials, processes, equipment.Supporting data management tasks to the team for recipe and artwork label creation.Coordinating necessary documentation for import, export projects.Assessment of new technologies and technical opportunities with the latest developments in the relevant area.Plan, coordinate & execute lab, and pilot plant works of his/her projects.Follow and understand trends in market regarding new products and technologies.Responsible for the integrity of specifications and formulations in the specification management system. Provision of specifications for every product in the market and ensure that all new, or rejuvenated products have & match agreed specifications.Ensures effective interface with Unilever factories in driving the implementation of new products and processes.In close coordination with the processing and supply chain teams, develop manufacturing processes to scale the product manufacture from lab to pilot to main plantEnsure the compliance of the work to the Unilever Code of Business PrinciplesExperiences & Qualifications
University degree in Food Engineering or Chemical Engineering, 3rd or 4th grade, a Master’s or PhD degree in a relevant study; Food Technology Food Chemistry, ChemistryHungry to learn and curious.Proficiency in English language (both written and verbal)Excellent knowledge of Experience/know-how in Microsoft 365 tools; Teams, Sharepoint, Planner, PowerBI, Flow, Power Apps, etc. is an advantageKnowledge of product design processes and principlesWorking knowledge of Food LegislationProven practice in Project Management skillsEffective communication skills with all levels of an organization,Ability to effectively co-operate within multi-disciplinary teams on local and globalEffectively leveraging the scale of Unilever and the power of EcosystemsAvailable to contribute minimum 3 days a week.Skills
