We are investing to unlock the full growth potential of Ice Cream as a standalone entity, once we separate from Unilever, which is planned to happen by November 2025.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Turkey Legal Counsel will have a rich and engaging role and will be responsible for:Providing legal support for Ice Cream Brands business unit and professional functions of the Ice Business (HR, Marketing, Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, R&D and Finance and others) and ensure compliance of all operations in Turkey.Collaboration with Corporate Centre (for Competition, Tax, IP, Corporate Secretary, M&A, Business Integrity and Data Protection or similar teams).  Providing legal counselling and legal risk assessment to business units regarding their day-to-day operations and projects,Managing the drafting, revision and negotiation of various contracts,Ensuring that our ice cream products, claims, new product developments, packaging, any advertisement materials and services meet applicable laws and regulations.Preparing and conducting legal trainings for our employees; taking an active role in antitrust compliance program.Participating in the completion of significant legal projects.Ensuring that our global corporate standards are followed.Manage Any Ice Cream related litigation in the country; and maintain cordial professional relationship with external legal service providers.Keep abreast of external legal issues impacting the Ice Cream business such as regulations and decision of competition, data protection and advertising regulatory bodies.

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:

A Turkish Bar registered lawyer (+5 years’ experience/PQE as an in house in an FMCG company (food FMCG is preferred but not required), experienced in corporate law, commercial & sales contracts, legal marketing activities, competition law, factory support, issues management.

You will be eligible for relocation support in the form of flights (to NL), immigration and tax support (in the year of move) and a lump sum in cash to be paid out during the first salary payment in the Netherlands. No further relocation support will be provided in a self-initiated CLOC.
