JOB PURPOSE:

In this role, you will drive impact across the Ice Cream business by uncovering insights and growth opportunities in two crucial areas:  Analytics and Shopper/Channels:

As the Analytics Lead, you will drive strategic advancements and informed decision-making to fuel our growth ambitionAs the Shopper/Channels expert, you will provide best-in-class insights to our IC BU, partnering closely with the CCP team on research that underpins our strategic initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Analytics CMI:

Identify category opportunities and issues and recommending actions for growth, based on performance metrics including macroeconomic, sales, panel, and media data.Manage Key Metrics reporting for the USA – including Forecasting, Market Share, Media Measurement,  Unmissable Brand Superiority (UBS), etc. This individual will also own the relationship with our Global CMI team to ensure that there is alignment between local and global tools. Lead POS (point of sale) and Panel agency relationshipsPartner with pricing specialists and NRM lead to roll out price elasticity studies and make NRM recommendations. Partner with Media analyticsspecialists to help guide the marketing team in their business decisions 

Lead Shopper/Channel CMI:

Provide fact-based, strategic, shopper-centric points of view to inspire deeper shopper understanding.Demonstrate research expertise by developing effective, efficient learning plans and selecting fit for purpose methodologies. Interpret and synthesize information across data/analytics platforms, primary and secondary research, trends, social media data, e-commerce and existing learning.  Develop strong collaborative partnerships with stakeholders to proactively identify business challenges and opportunities. Partner with Shopper Insights in the field and CCS Leads.

Lead a Team:

Manage and coach 3 associates (Analytics, Measurement, Shopper/Dcomm)

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Strong Business Partnering:  Ease and Expertise in partnering with CMI colleagues, CCS, other cross-functional colleagues, External Agencies

Research Expertise:  Advanced knowledge of fundamental quantitative and qualitative primary research methodologies, syndicated data, social listening tools and analytic approaches.  Strong skills end-to-end management of the research process. Manage external suppliers to execute research projects efficiently. 

Managing a team: As a manager, you will need to motivate others to deliver with passion, creating an inclusive and engaging climate around you. You can balance challenge with support and coaching

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:

Demonstrated high performance, 5-7 years of relevant insights & analytics experience Prior experience working with core data agencies like Circana, Numerator, and NIQ is critical for this role Prior experience managing direct reports Proven ability to think through problems, provide clear logic, and influence stakeholders with actionable recommendations Highly skilled in Excel (Advanced) and affinity for other analytic tools Passionate, Curious attitude, Strong interpersonal skills, Flexible, and Team player Undergraduate degree required.  Advanced degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Analytics, Economics or Business preferred. MS Office proficiency required. Modeling experience welcomed

Pay: The pay range for this position is $115,680 to $173,520. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
