Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dynamic and innovative, future-focused individual to support broad strategy work across the Institutional Client Group (ICG). As the ICG Business Strategy Manager, you’ll drive data-driven insights and strategic initiatives that shape our business, enabling us to meet the evolving needs of our ICG clients, stay competitive in the market and make impactful, long-term decisions. The role demands a blend of analytic rigor, strategic cross-enterprise thinking, and industry experience.Strategic Planning & Execution:
Collaborate with senior leadership to set strategic priorities and create business plans that drive revenue growth, efficiency and market competitiveness. Creating a comprehensive sales enablement strategy that aligns with overall business goals. This involves identifying key areas where the sales team needs support and developing programs to address these needs.Develop and deploy strategic initiatives to improve customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction, while balancing risk and profitability. Establish representative working groups to tackle broad variety of initiatives. Hold team members accountable to delivering on working plan. Own, coordinate and continually work to improve the quarterly SBR process.Research & Analysis:
Anticipate trends and opportunities through insightful interpretation of research and develop new solutions that are in line with overall ICG strategy.Utilize reporting and metrics from variety of sources to inform strategic decisions and tell compelling stories about where the business needs to go in short and long term. Serve as primary liaison with Finance on headcount trends and implications to overall ICG goals and strategy. Develop and manage dashboards, KPIs and other metrics to monitor business performance and identify areas for improvement. Synthesize complex market and competitive information across multiple structures in the organization, anticipate market trends and customer needs, and transform analyses into innovative actionable plans for revenue growth, investment, or operational enhancement.Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, Product and Sales to ensure strategic initiatives align with business goals. Present insights and recommendations to executive leadership, gaining buy-in and driving cross-functional/cross-enterprise collaboration.Innovation & Best Practices:
Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies and regulatory changes that could impact ICG.Implement best practices in strategy and initiative deployment, fostering a culture of continuous improvement for ICG.Qualifications:
8+ years of banking experience.3+ years of management experience. The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $143,905.00 - $169,300.00 - $186,230.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
