We currently have an opportunity for an ICT Security Specialist. Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia’s future.  

What You’ll Bring 

• You must have and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance as required by the Commonwealth.  

•      Experience and/or industry certification in a technology, cyber security, governance, risk, or compliance related field (i.e. CISSP, CISM, ISO27001, CRISC). 

•      Knowledge of security management, as defined by the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF) and 

•      Experience in the application of the Australian Cyber Security Centres (ACSC) Information Security Manual (ISM). 

•    Experience in the Cyber Security Assessment and Authorisation (CSAA) Framework and  knowledge/experience of Defence Command and Control systems/applications (highly desirable)

What You’ll Do 

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: 

• Author and Maintain Information and Communications Technology (ICT) security related artefacts      

• Build and maintain relationships with project and product managers to support cyber security and governance risk and compliance activities  

• Assist and provide cyber security guidance to key stakeholders throughout the Assessment & Authorisation (A&A) lifecycle  

• Prepare documentation and reports as required by the Cyber Security Assessment and Authorisation (CSAA) framework and capability review boards.
