ICTR Senior Program Specialist

*The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) Institute for Clinical & Translational Research (ICTR)*is seeking a*Senior Program Specialist*to join the ICTR Administrative Team. Under general supervision, this position will provide a wide range of supportive activities and expertise to plan, develop, administer, and manage program needs within the ICTR. The Senior program specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the ICTR training program, and assist with other ICTR programs, such as the pilot grant, studio, and voucher program. The candidate will apply specialized and theoretical knowledge, principles, and concepts of a professional discipline normally acquired through advanced education or specialized training in program management; assist UMB ICTR leadership in resolving programmatic issues and significant matters, contribute to development and evaluation of goals and objectives; create solutions to ensure legal and policy compliance with program strategies. *Benefits (Exempt Regular): * UMB offers acomprehensive benefits packagethat prioritizes wellness, work/life balance, and professional development, along withadditional exciting perksthat employees can take advantage of. All employees are expected to work primarily physically within the State of Maryland. * *Essential Functions:* * Responsible for all aspects of the ICTR Training Program, including day-to-day operations and program management. (40% effort) * Manage the annual application and review processes for the ICTR Training and Pilot grant Programs and quarterly application and review processes for the ICTR voucher program. (20% effort) * Provide advanced administrative and research support to the ICTR leadership team. This includes assisting with letters of support, ICTR requests (via REDCap database), and other special projects. (15%) * Perform specialized administrative functions, including research and data analysis, program coordination and monitoring, data collection, database creation, surveys, reports, and recommends program changes (15%) * Develop and facilitate ICTR workshops, studios, meetings, or conferences with high impact on program and/or participants. Coordinate logistics, scheduling, communications, and participation. (5%) * Monitor and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders (i.e.: UMB Junior faculty, pre-and post-doctoral trainees, partner institutions (JHU, UMBC, UMCP), and sponsors) to ensure compliance with work plan and deliverables.
