Identity Access Management (IAM) Business Analyst

We are seeking an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Business Operations Analyst to support secure and efficient user access across the organization. You will manage business role-based access, ensure segregation of duties, conduct recertifications, and oversee Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes. You'll collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to maintain business roles and support local IAM initiatives.

 

This role, reporting to the Head of Identity and Access Management, is perfect for a skilled IAM operations professional. You'll have the opportunity to influence global strategies and make impactful decisions in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

 

This position offers a two day in-office hybrid work schedule in Richmond, VA.

 

 

What you do

 

Support line management to grant secure user accesses in a timely and efficient manner by implementing and managing a user access model according to the IAM Target Operating Model. Support for local IAM - Overview of requirements & deep-dives into each requirement. Support the creation, maintenance, and use of the IAM Model in Line of business/Region, in line with line management’s requirements including instantiation of IAM Domains and Business Roles in collaboration with Org. Management Creation/maintenance of Business Roles including meta-information relevant for controls. Maintain and manage created Business Roles and IAM Domains in the Business Role Management tool based on business knowhow collected from Business Operations and Line Managers Creation of Segregation of Duties matrices Conduct recertifications and attestations (UARR) together with second responsible person, e.g., Line Manager, Business Application Owner Primary single point of contact regarding IAM-related topics for all regional stakeholders. Interact with Service Owners for the creation of new Business Roles to support correct matching of Business Roles and Entitlements Interact with Service Owners during periodic reviews. Ensure Joiner/Mover/Leaver IAM processes are executed within the required time (e.g., revoking access rights) Support continuous improvement process in the IAM area. Contribute own regional experience to streamline IAM processes.


What you bring

 

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years proven experience as a Business Analyst in Identity and Access Management (IAM) or related areas. Strong understanding of IAM concepts, processes, and best practices. Familiarity with IAM technologies and systems, such as user provisioning, access controls, authentication mechanisms, and directory services. Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders. Exposure to tools for requirements management, process modelling, and documentation (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio). Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
