The position of IAM security & risk manager is a challenging position in a dynamic and diverse international environment with operations on different locations and direct strategical impact on the achievement of ASML’s business objectives.
Role and responsibilities
As a nIAM security & risk manager, you will be instrumental in the development and enhancement of policies and standards related enable secure & compliant Identity and Access Management (IAM) across ASML. Key objective of the role is to embed the right level of risk management into ASML’s processes and ensure they align with both business needs and regulatory standards. You will work within our 2nd line IAM team, which operates as part of our commitment to the three lines of defense model, focusing specifically on risk management and compliance aspects of IAM. The role includes close collaboration with your peers in the other Security 2nd line domains, (senior) stakeholders in ASML’s sectors and business lines and a large team of teams in the 1st line IT domain.
A grasp of your responsibilities:
Develop functional and operational policies/standards and support developing policy frameworks for IAM. Take responsibility for creating underlying procedures and monitoring their implementationSupport the awareness of internal stakeholders regarding priority business opportunities and risks associated with IAMAssist in managing and aligning with stakeholders on strategic IAM risk management capability improvement roadmapParticipate in leading, facilitating, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to prioritize transformational IAM risk management initiatives and secure acceptance within established roadmapContribute to monitoring and reporting controls in place to track progress and prioritize further improvement initiatives related to IAM risk managementAid in developing architectural guidance on how to enhance and address gaps within IAM risk management capabilities, including process design, role definitions, organizational impact, as well as applications and interfaces that support these capabilitiesEducation and experience
Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant discipline, e.g., Business Administration, Information technology, Cybersecurity, Internal Auditing, IT managementMinimum of 10+ years professional experience with 4+ years focus on security, IT auditing or Identity and Access managementStrong understanding of risk management principles and compliance regulations in general and preferably in the IAM domainPrior involvement with Agile and SAFe frameworks is beneficial, providing a strong foundation for contributing effectively to this roleSkills

The IAM security & risk manager reports into the security function within Risk & Business Assurance (RBA), directly to the Head of the IAM Digital Identity/Access department. RBA provides state-of-art expertise, insights and assurance, enabling ASML to achieve its objectives while managing business opportunities and business risks in a responsible manner. You will be working with key business stakeholders as well as product managers/owners and architects (responsible for the development and delivery of IAM services) in translating the RBA strategy and vision to integrated opportunity and risk management for IAM.
