Your mission, roles and responsibilitiesJob is based in Brières or Nanterre. If Brieres, regular regular working days in Nanterre HQ (FR): 4 days monthly
The company allow until a maximum of 8 days per month of home office, to be defined and validated by the Manager.
Occasional business trips for projects workshops:
• Europe (mainly Portugal and Germany): 2-3 days once a month maximum
• North America (Mexico / US) or China: 2 weeks periods once a year maximum
Overall responsibilities and duties:
The Indirect purchasing Data Manager role contain 2 main roles :
o Indirect Purchasing Data Management
o Indirect Purchasing Dashboards Manager
Reporting:
The position is reporting to the Group Indirect Purchasing Excellence Director. The position is dotted line to the Group Purchasing Data Manager to ensure consistence and compliance with Purchasing standards to handle data.
The main missions and responsibilities of the role are:
1. As Data Manager :
o Expert on Indirect Purchasing Data.
o Own and manage the data quality
o Interface with Data Office to build the Purchasing Ontology. The Data Manager is representative of Indirect Purchasing into different project groups working on ontology and Forvia Data platform deployment (Palantir/SAP Data Warehouse)
o Accountable for the Data compliance on Indirect Purchasing scope (IAm, MDM, Ariba workflows, SAP FCS)
o Work closely with Global Shared services to maintain and enhance IDP Supplier Master Data including Supplier hierarchy
o Validate taxonomy evolutions and coordinate implementation in systems
o Under this responsibility the Data Manager is interacting with the Indirect Purchasing Process and system Manager to ensure that access and systems roles are consistent with Data governance.
o Interface other functions (GIT, Sustainability, Quality, GBS…) as indirect representative in different transversal projects
o Interface Hella Data management team to support operating model convergence
o Propose most adapted tools to collect, consolidate and visualize Data (Power App, Form…) to support IDP projects.
2. As Dashboards Manager
o Build and maintain different data visualization dashboards to support Indirect Purchasing team and controlling:
• IDP Performance Dashboard : Used to report IDP financial (Savings & Cash) and non financial KPI (CSR and purchasing processes) to TOP management
• Operational Purchasing Dashboards : used by IDP team to allow data analytics at transactional level.
o Accountable for Data consistency with controlling.
o Lead Dashboard monthly update process in respect of reporting calendar.
o Build and maintain visualization dashboards to support specific projects like M&A or new initiatives to support the strategic plan (Value management, CO2…)
o Change Management: Provide regular training to secure end users adoption
o Be part of the reflection on continuous improvement of the Indirect purchasing data landscape
Qualifications and Competencies
1. The ideal candidate will have/be:
o Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's or Master's degree in data Engineering or Finance
o Minimum 5 years experience in an international industrial and highly digital company or consulting with high reputation in data management
o 3-5 years experience in Data Management supporting business teams transversally.
o 2-3 years Experience in Indirect Purchasing environment is a plus
o Fluent English is mandatory, 2nd language: French or German are a plus
2. Hard skills :
o Expert level in Data analyst skills
o High understanding of commodity management including taxonomy.
o Familiar with data model analysis and design (Strong understanding of data structuration including concept of hierarchy)
o Strong expertise on Power Automate/Power Apps/Power BI/Power Platform and Excel PowerQuery
o Experience with SAP BI
o Knowledge of Ariba or similar solution for procurement management would be a plus
3. Soft Skills :
o Leadership competencies including communication, decision making, change management and strategic vision capacities
o Ability to work in a complex and fast changing global organizational environment
o Intercultural understanding and adaptation
o Problem solving oriented, structured mindset
