For our IE team, we are looking for an IE / PE Engineer to help us drive electrical automation products within Siemens and beyond. We are a highly motivated team and are excited to get to know you.
You’ll make an impact by -Identify and realize the optimization potentials for Assembly workshops -Cooperate with respective production managers to realize production line layout optimization and updating according to actual business demand. -Responsible for manufacturing fixtures and tools development, including WI description or other production related documents creation and updates, etc. -Support and coordinate new projects (incl. IoT projects) implementation regarding automation and digitalization in GIS Plant.
Your defining qualities - Bachelor’s degree or above. Major in industrial engineering or equivalent experience - At least 2 years’ experience in industrial engineering, lean production, kaizen or equivalent experience. - Familiar with basic IE / PE knowledge, continuous improvement, line balance, ergonomics. - General expertise in basic software (CAD, Excel). - Good communication skills in spoken and written English. - Experience about manufacturing line design and planning will be preferred. - Background with Industry 4.0 or machine automation, or robot is a plus.
