Job Description1.To provide technical process and equipment support to the manufacturing department in regarding the assembly process;
2.Manage technically complex projects form initial conception to completion, including the creation of technical specifications for new product and processes.
3.To take a active part in the continues improvement of labor and machine productivity,cycle time reduction,quality risk ,lean production,cost saving.
4.To lead investigations into technical issues ensuring root cause identification, implementation of corrective actions and verification of their effectiveness.
5.To review all manufacturing processes and FMEAs to ensure that wherever possible effective poka yokes are in place and maintained via an audit process to minimize the risk that any non-conforming products will be released to the customer."
6. To lead the function that ensures the provision, co-ordination and availability of all tool, fixture,programs/PLC/MES/PIT etc, including the provision and reordering of all required spares and backup facilities.
7. Assure smooth start-up of all new projects in regards to timing, cost and quality
8. Collabration with Change Management team to ensure:
- Professional implementation of all process the changes
- Effective and on time SAP routing setup and maintenance;
- Good control of all techinical documentation distribution
9. Manage and develop the local supplier for localization project in regarding assembly/machine/automation etc;
10. Drive the activities of new projects and lines ramp up to ensure the efficiency reach the target in the short time
11. Manage the bottle neck process from capacity point of view to avoid customer delivery issue or additional logistic cost
12. Prevent process quality by introducing new standard, requirement and strengthen execution to the shop floor
13. To review the training needs and skills within the department and other aligned technical functions, highlighting needs and developing training plans with the HR Department.14. Supports global network participation inside the plant (e.g. TECH.net).
15. Work together with other departments for the improvements of ergonomic and safety in the shop floor.
16. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications1.Technical or technical/commercial engineering degree (bachelor,master)
Professional experience (at least 3 years) in manufacturing field
2.3 - 5 years of work experience in automotive industry
Familiar with MS Excel, PPT, Project; SAP experience would be beneficialKnowledge or release procedures in automotive industry would be beneficialGood organizational and communicational skills
3.Ability to work in a team, to communicate, assertiveness, skill in negotiations
4.At least 3 years in a leadership position, preferably in operational units with direct and indirect responsibility for other individuals
5.Experience in automotive business (approx. 2 years) and understanding of automotive environment Plant working experience is necessary;
6.Experience with production processes also in the area of lean productionGood knowledge of english (spoken and written)
7.Excellent presentation skills in both English and Chinese
8.Able to work independently and working under pressure
9.Teamwork spirit
10.Understanding of working with international teams
11.Cross functional experience, preferred
