The Associate General Counsel will be a part of Forvis Mazars' legal/risk management team which is a key component of the firm's organization structure. Members of the team must demonstrate leadership, creativity, and good judgment in helping the firm manage business risks while working closely with business leaders to find practical and creative solutions to problems
This position will support the Chief Legal Officer and have significant interaction with the firm's partners, management, and all functional areas. The legal department manages a large volume of requests, and individuals in this role will need a strong ability to fluidly manage workload with internal client priorities, meet agreed deadlines, and prioritize work consistent with the firm's business objectives and requirements.

Must possess sound business judgement, strategic thinking, interpersonal skills, flexibility, willingness to work and develop skills/knowledge on a broad variety of legal matters, superior writing and verbal communication skills, and strong legal research and writing skills.

Juris Doctorate 10 years or more of experience
