MISSION / SUMMARY:
Build and expand GPI’s Enterprise Machine Intelligence system across Americas Converting. Working with a team and establishing machine tag management, screens, displays, and alarms using Inductive Automation’s Ignition 8 and Sepasoft’s MES platform to enable remote monitoring. Ignition development and scripting. Integration with GPI’s core internal supply chain systems.
JOB FUNCTION: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following.
This Business Systems Architect role is responsible for supporting the rapidly growing manufacturing technology space where OT and IT are on the leading edge of merging and clashing.
Below are the qualifying functions expected:
Designing control/SCADA systems including databases and database interfaces, data analytics & reporting, scripting (Python, C#, VB, etc.) and general programming
- Project Management
Ensures all projects are executed in accordance to established GPI IT governance practices. Foster cross-functional relationships inter- and intra-departmentally for effective project management Execute assigned projects and track the completion of major milestones
EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent. 10+ years of proven progressive IT experience. Must be Emerging leader, highly experienced.
Specialized or technical knowledge:
Experienced Ignition software and scripting. Core Certification is required, and Gold is a plus Experienced Sepasoft’s MES or OEE Ignition platform module. Certification is required. Ability to comprehend and implement detailed project specifications Ability to adapt to various technologies and simultaneously work on multiple projects Technical Skills and experience working with MS SQL, HTML 5, Python, MQTT, Microsoft .NET, C# Experience with SCADA software systems and industrial protocols (Inductive Automation Preferred) Experience with development languages (python scripting, java, C#). Experience with data transport technologies such as HTTP and MQTT. Experience with cloud hosted technologies for Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Service. Experience with at least 1 of the following control systems, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Bosch, TwinCat Significant experience designing, developing, deploying and troubleshooting large scale software applications for automated control in a production environment

Pay Range: $102,270.00 - $136,395.00
