Roles and Responsibilities
Be the focal point and leader of all initiatives around installations processes from customer delivery, mechanical installation to calibrations.Create strong partnership between all supply chain stakeholders to significantly improve customer experience.Be engaged with engineering to influence NPI’s toward design for installation.Build with counterparts in region a comprehensive action plan to improve installation process (Safety, Quality, lead time) and ensure execution.Monitor GIQ’s and take proactive actions to reduce GIQ rate.Identify and implement opportunities to stabilize COSD and reduce the number of projects that move more than 13 weeks beyond their planned week and improve backlog data for more predictable quarterly revenue.Role model Safety across the organization and implement highest standards to enable and sustain a safe work environment. Be the coordination point for HPM trainings and support.Be aware of all activities related to the supervision, organization, and execution of a service project, including scope, time, contract (if not covered by a dedicated Contract Manager) cost & quality management. Responsibility for project methodologies and standards including scheduling and control, to fulfill a customer order or need according to financial/commercial parameters and ensuring customer satisfaction.Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and can construct and provide recommendations. Comfortable in presenting the Stakeholders a complex transformation in a concise and simple way and secure their buy in and support.\\Strong analytical skills capable of evaluating details. Ability to zoom in and out to build and execute a strategy.Comfortable in presenting the Stakeholders a complex transformation in a concise and simple way and secure their buy in and support.Demonstrated hands on LEAN practitioner, energized to motivate and lead others through problem solving, KAIZEN events and Hoshin Kanri.Requires specialized knowledge within the function. Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation.For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Services & Services Project Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a master’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).For roles in USA - Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 8 years of experience in project and change management, or supply chain.Desired Characteristics
