**Overview** St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, ID is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join ourCyber Protection team. Under limited/moderate supervision, research industry trends, serve as a cyber security technical resource performing solution design and task development, and provide cybersecurity consulting, risk analysis, and risk reduction guidance. **Duties/ Responsibilities:** - Provide cybersecurity consulting across the organization, offering risk analysis, guidance on organizational technologies, and Cyber Security policy impact, while activelyparticipatingin solution design with IT teams and Cyber Security partners tooptimizecyber technical controls. - Proactivelyinitiatescollaboration with Cyber Security partners to drive efficient and effectiveutilizationof cyber technical controls and partners through proactive outreach. - Proactively communicates the ramifications ofnew technologieson cybersecurity controlsregardingemerging threats, while adeptlymaintainingsituational awareness of evolving cyber threats and articulating their implications on the organization's security posture. - Leads cybersecurity control assessment, audit, vulnerability analyses, and risk assessments. - Drives the maintenance documentation related to architecture, technical specifications, and operational processes. - Able to adapt communication style based upon the audience and their feedback/input. - Collaboratively adjust problem-solving strategies to suit both the situation and the audience, particularly for moderately complex issues within a department, ensuringtimelyresolution.Executes onroadmap and operational deliverables. -Participatein incident response by effectivelyutilizinga wide range of security tools and taking proactive measures to advance resolution. - Leads and conducts training sessions, provides support, andeducatingusers on security policies, best practices, and emerging threats. - Other duties as assigned.  **Minimum Qualifications:** Education:Bachelorsdegree or experience in lieu of degree Experience:2years relevant experience Licenses/Certifications: None   **What’s in it for you** At St. Luke’s, caring for people in the communities we serve is our mission – and this includes our own SLHS team.
