The Data Engineers at Mcgraw Hill are responsible for supporting McGraw-Hill Education’s (MHE) business intelligence and data services capabilities to provide actionable, timely information to drive accurate financial, product reporting, performance monitoring and facilitate business decisions. What you will do: Design, develop and administer business intelligence / data warehousing applications to support the growing demand for business insight using any of the ETL tools like IICS, Informatica or Alteryx Analyze problem statements, suggest various options to address the problem specifying functionality, integrating systems and applying patches Analyze and translate business requirements to functional specifications and provide recommendations and right solution design Develop Functional and technical design specifications and documents. Interact with client, developers and IT peers to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of modifications into the production environment We are looking for someone: A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field Solid experience in Data warehousing concepts Proven work experience in development and design using IICS or Informatica or Alteryx Strong knowledge in database like Oracle, SQL server, PL SQL etc Exposure working in Business Intelligence / ERP Sales /Product Activations/ Data modelling Highly experienced Data engineer with the ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements Why work with us?
