**About the Role & Team**
The Show Systems studio is where we produce, make, and build the magic. Our processes and tool sets take us from concept design or mock-ups all the way through to full-on production, assembly, and installation. Our Manufacturing and Production Technicians use their hands and tools to fabricate and assemble complex prototypical mechanical and electrical systems that support the designs created by their engineering colleagues. M&P Technicians are often called upon to support complex mock-ups in multiple sites and to participate in installations for new or renovated attractions. These are hands-on technical positions that demand advanced training in various trades
**What You Will Do**
+ Direct fabrication & manufacturing of complex, prototypical electrical assemblies with a strong focus on wiring, terminating, and troubleshooting assemblies and systems
+ Participate in project goals as outlined by production leadership, including mock-up, integration, and troubleshooting of various assemblies
+ Support the design and development of electrical assemblies & systems, including producing wiring diagrams, wiring lists, and connector schedules
+ Collaborate directly with QC and Engineering functions to identify, correct, and mitigate deviations from assembly requirements
+ Provide direct input into a review of company standards relative to the design and production of various assemblies
+ Develop, introduce, and oversee new ideas to enhance work processes and display the initiative to carry through to implementation
+ Provide technical oversight to outside vendors contracted to produce animation
+ Contribute to the ongoing project estimating and scheduling effort by accurately assessing and communicating assembly progress
**Required Qualifications & Skills**
+ 10 or more years of relevant industry experience
+ Demonstrated experience in a collaborative work environment working across technical disciplines
+ Ability to wire, terminate, and troubleshoot complex assemblies and systems
+ Ability to make technical choices and decisions without guidance from the lead or executive management
+ Strong understanding of electronic & electrical design principles
+ Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, wiring lists, and connector schedules
+ Working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
**Electrical Skills**
+ Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, wiring lists, and connector schedules
+ Ability to produce wiring diagrams, wiring lists, and connector schedules
+ Strong understanding of electronic & electrical design principles
+ Demonstrated electro-mechanical assembly skills
+ Ability to wire, terminate, and troubleshoot complex assemblies and systems
+ Advanced set-up and repair skills using state-of-the-art diagnostic techniques, equipment, and software
+ Ability to produce and integrate wiring diagrams, wiring lists, and connector schedules
+ Understanding of UL Compliance related to product line
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 15 or more years of relevant industry experience
+ 10 or more years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, with a specific focus on wiring, terminating, repairing, and/or troubleshooting complex electrical assemblies & systems
**Education**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required
+ College or trade school degree preferred or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $85,800.00-$115,000.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
