IM Operation Support Analyst

Position Summary

Oversee the entire demand planning process from forecasting to order fulfillment. Work closely with sales, product managers, SCM colleagues and business partners to gain consensus and establish accurate account level sales forecasts. Ensure high quality demand trend analysis, gap analysis, predictive modeling, analysis of historical sales performance, inventory levels, promotional plans and market intelligence all to be presented in a compelling manner. Where gaps to plans are identified, expected to recommend strategic counter measures. Responsible to recommend best practices regarding demand planning processes and policies, actively apply a continuous improvement approach to work processes, including process automation, where applicable.

Role and Responsibilities

Key objectives:

Acting as a bridge between the IM Sales and SCM team as well as the Business Management team by providing the linkage between business objectives and market realities. Analytical competencies will be called upon to contribute to the fine-tuning of the forecasting processes and to improving KPIs.

Main responsibilities:

Main communication channel between Key account managers, SCM colleagues and the Business Management team members, ensuring mutual understanding in collaboration.

Analyze market trends in order to ensure that the forecast is accurate and correctly reflects the current market situations.

Aligning business targets with market dynamics involves providing insights into how the strategic goals can be met.

Analyze performance data in order to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to realize supply chain efficiency.

Collaborate with different functions to ensure coherent strategy execution and process optimization.

Monitor and analyze historical Sell Out trends with inventory status on account level and give valuable insights to the internal stakeholders.

Report issues and gaps to account managers and perform root cause analysis for resolution.

Prepare and present weekly and monthly target analysis and recommend gap closure strategies.

Weekly and daily Supply Chain Management reporting in support of leadership and internal stakeholders.

Recommend best practices regarding SCM processes and policies. Actively apply a continuous improvement approach to work processes, including process automation, where applicable.

Support the standardization and implementation of Supply Chain Management operating procedures.

Requirements:

Min. 5 years' of related experience and a BA/BSc degree, preferably in economics OR

Min. 3 years' of related experience and a Master's degree preferably in economics

Strong background in the field of supply chain management and preferably product management experience

Excellent command of Hungarian and English in written and verbal

Strong problem-solving mindset with creativity

Strong data analytics skills
