POSITION SUMMARY:
The Retail Planning Specialist assists with projects related to new and existing stores, construction, and other property projects as directed. Work is primarily focused on interior infill elements such as retail fixtures, signage, flooring, furnishings, taxidermy and artifacts. Will also assist with light design work, budgeting, scheduling, permitting, shipping, invoicing, and installation of all elements that are part of the general job description. Will maintain communication with internal and external teams for planning, coordination, and delivery. The ability to multi-task and working in an extremely fast-paced, deadline driven environment is a requirement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:
Travels to existing properties to consult on the conditions of furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure company standards are met.
Supports the acquisition and logistics of Company and Private asset collections.
Creates and rewards bid packages for all new projects.
Supports in managing project budgets by quoting furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
Creates PO’s and processes invoices for all vendors for furniture, fixtures, and equipment as well as all purchases done through acquisitions.
Assists with new stores and with special projects regarding theming and design.
Evaluates all furniture, fixtures, and equipment inquiries and purchases.
Works with the Legal department to ensure all furniture, fixtures, and equipment being acquired is legal with necessary paperwork.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: Associate's degree
Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Communication, or related field
Years of experience: 1-3 years
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Must be 21 years of age and have a clear driving record
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Mas 500, Timberline & AS400 is preferred
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
National travel will be required approximately (10%) to new and existing stores and special projects.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regularly performs computer work and sits.
Occasionally walks and stands.
Seldom/never lifts up to 50lbs.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
Performs duties within scope of general company policies, procedures, and objectives. Analyzes problems and performs needs assessments. Uses judgment in adapting broad guidelines to achieve desired result. Regular exercise of independent judgment within accepted practices. Makes recommendations that affect policies, procedures, and practices.
