Imaging Access Coordinator

Performs a variety of duties to support administration of assigned imaging areas to include patient access functions
Reports to: Market Director of Imaging Services
Obtains documentation of orders and any supporting reports required to authorize appropriateness of procedure.

Schedules patient procedures notifying appropriate parties of daily and weekly schedules.

Receives, screens, and routes visitors and telephone calls. Responds to, escalates, and follows up on inquiries and problems as appropriate.

Greets patients as they arrive for various Imaging services, as needed.

Preforms registration functions for those presenting for services

Maintains assigned calendar(s).

Maintains files and office equipment.

Orders and stocks supplies.
*Minimum Education*
High school diploma or equivalent - Required

*Required Skills*
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

6 months experience with front office operations or customer service in the medical field, cardiovascular specialty - Preferred
