Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Set up phantoms for X-Ray scans Assist engineers to collect data from in-house Imaging SystemsWork with engineers to analyze data from imaging scans for key trends and/or specified parametersAssist engineers in generating test & evaluation reportsAssist in troubleshooting field issues and generating resolution reports

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Preferred or Desired:Familiarity with Matlab (Python experience a plus)Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment, as well as some familiarity with soldering equipment that may be utilized to fabricate prototype componentsExperience in medical imaging design, interfaces, signal processing, and concepts. Skills or experience in National Instruments LabVIEW, requirements development, microcontrollers, and test protocol development are advantageousFamiliarity with the use of engineering tools such as version control and defect tracking systemsRequired:Major in Physics, Electrical Engineering and/or Biomedical EngineeringMust work well in a team environmentAbility to work with prototype computer-based medical imaging test equipment and development systemsGood computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office programsGood verbal and written communication skills

WORKING CONDITIONS:Indoor Environment: The position takes place indoors, providing a comfortable and climate-controlled workspaceSedentary Work: This role involves extended periods of sitting and working at a desk, requiring good ergonomic practicesComputer Usage: Proficiency with computers, including software applications and communication tools, is essential for tasks and collaborationMinimal Physical Strain: While physical demands are generally low, occasional light lifting and moving of objects might be requiredStructured Schedule: This position usually follows regular business hours, promoting a consistent and predictable work routine
