We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** Imaging Nurse The imaging nurse will: provide high quality nursing care to the patients within medical imaging. Skills used int heir job performance include patient assessment, communication, teaching and quality improvement. The imaging nurse will also: Identify the patients' needs, plan, implement appropriate interventions, document and evaluate patients' outcomes; provide care in collaboration with other healthcare team members; be knowledgeable of normal lab values to include: CBC, Hemoglobin, Hematocrit, PT, PTT, and platelets; report abnormal lab values; administer medications via intradermal, intramuscular, intravenous, sublingual, subcutaneous or central venous catheter mode; manage care of the patient during invasive procedures; maintain safe What you will do in this role: + You will utilize therapeutic communication in daily practice, maintains a safe therapeutic environment, and identifies nursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patient. + You must demonstrate age specific knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment and care of patients. + Ensuring the privacy of our patients and confidentiality of their Protected Health Information (PHI) is core to your role. + You will utilize the nursing process for individual care to meet needs of patients and document all patient care. + Your role demonstrates the ability to perform technical skills, follow procedures, and show critical thinking. + You will provide care and coordinate participation that fosters the goals of the hospital's mission and vision statement. **What qualifications you will need:** + Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + (RN) Registered Nurse: Minimum of 2 year of experience + Associate Degree TriStar Skyline Medical Center is a 250+ bed facility.
