Manager Enterprise Imagingmiddot Provides application and technical information system supportmiddot Provides mentoring to other team membersmiddot Designs analyzes builds tests trains and supports assigned applicationsmiddot Identify applicationprocess design issues or conflicts and assist with the resolutionmiddot On Call responsibilities as requiredmiddot The Position will focus on Optimization Projects system Upgrades The Architect will work closely with our Radiology Pathology Heart Vascular Institute as well as Informatics Team JOB RESPONSIBILITIESmiddot Builds and maintains assigned applications and interfacesmiddot Participates in test script development and executionmiddot Conducts testing for assigned applicationsmiddot Coordinates vendor support for functional and technical support of applications interfaces and equipmentmiddot Participates in training and development of staff and users as assignedmiddot Provides customer response and updates according to current policies and proceduresmiddot Performs other duties as assignedmiddot Attends all mandatory education and training programs including department specific and can describe hisher responsibilities related to general safety and regulatory compliance as well as department safety and specific job related hazardsmiddot Follows the hospital exposure control plansbloodborne and airborne pathogensmiddot Attire is professional neat clean and appropriate for the work environment according to the HHC andor Department Appearance Policy and a high standard of personal cleanliness degree in Computer Science or related fieldExperienceEight plus years of related experience in healthcare ITS is preferredFive plus yearsrsquo experience with Sectra PACSVNA doing technically complex build and testing Similar experience with another vendorrsquos PACS will be considered as wellExperience with multiple ldquoologiesrdquo in the PACS environment eg Radiology Cardiology Pathology NeuroOphthalmology is preferredExperience integrating PACS with other applications eg Epic Powerscribe Dose Registries other rd party imaging applicationsExperience with image exchange between multiple systems eg Ambra PowerShare lifeImage Medcom etcStrong understanding of deploying applications on a variety of platforms eg VDI CitrixExperience with HL messaging and interface engines eg CorePoint MirthProject Management experience specifically implementing and deploying PACS and PACS related applicationsExperience building workflow diagrams using Visio andor similar applicationsExperience collaborating with technical staff including Storage Engineering Systems Engineering and Network Engineering teamsExperience translating business requirements into technical solutions and the ability to coordinate all required resources to produce a successful solutionExperience monitoring and projecting system requirements that take into account future growth of the organizationKnowledge Skills and Ability Requirementsmiddot Work experience may substitute for minimum education requirementmiddot Due to sensitive security and financial responsibilities must successfully pass CreditFinancial screeningsmiddot Working knowledge of state and federal health care information technology laws and regulationsmiddot Working knowledge of general information
