Summary :The Imaging Records Analyst maintains and coordinates the transfer of imaging records using multiple media types and electronic transfer of image data.

Job Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Provides professional services such as electronic image transfer and copying images to disc or other media types within ThedaCare or to other healthcare facilities. Performs data entry, copying, faxing, and filing.

Assists provider offices, patients, families, and significant others with imager report transfer as a continuation of services provided by ThedaCare.

Maintains basic knowledge of medical terminology to assist offices with imaging requests.

Maintains basic knowledge of healthcare regulations to ensure proper documentation of records, and remains compliant with requirements, regulations, and policies.

Documents information in the patient electronic medical record.

Partners with imaging departments to access outside imaging records to assist in timely reading of internal imaging studies.

Maintains film file room according to ThedaCare policy, where applicable.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or GED preferred

Must be 18 years of age

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of fifty (50) pounds without assistance

Job classification is not exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Normally works in climate controlled office environment

Frequent sitting with movement throughout office space

Use of computers throughout the work day

Frequent use of keyboard with repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and fingers

Schedule: days position, no call, Monday through Friday.
