Assists with performing installations, repairs, adjustments, and calibrations of imaging equipment within assigned geography. May work independently at times, however, typically work is performed under close supervision with management. **Job Description** : **EDUCATION:** _Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._ Associate's: Electronic Technology or Engineering **TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:** 2 years recent relevant experience **SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE :** Knowledge of radiology physics, digital technology and mechanics Knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to imaging equipment, radiation safety and protection practices. Knowledge of human anatomy & physiology, and medical terminology and regulatory requirements including TJC, CAP, the California Radiation Control Regulations – title 17, and the California Administrative Code – Title 22 Requires the knowledge base and experience to repair and maintain a wide range of diagnostic imaging equipment quickly and accurately. Basic skills in the following areas: radiographic systems, diagnostic ultrasound systems, portables, CR readers, Bureau of Radiological Health and Certification procedures.
