At VSH - North County, our AAHA accredited hospital proudly serves the community by providing referral services in the specialties of cardiology, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, emergency & critical care, interventional radiology, surgery, oncology, surgical oncology, ophthalmology, neurology, internal medicine, as well as integrative medicine such as acupuncture.
About the Job: As a Veterinary Imaging Technician, you will be responsible for:Prepare and run CT scans, per clinician orders to obtain diagnostic images on canine and feline patientsSet image parameters and patient positioningWork independently or under the guidance of the clinician to modify scan techniques for optimal image qualityUnderstand and review all medical records pertinent to patient care and image requestsMaintain a clean and safe CT environment by restricting personnel access and disinfecting between patientsPerforms routine CT quality assurance reporting any concerns in a timely mannerRemain current in CT trends through CE attendance and certificationOther duties as assignedCompensation ranges: Veterinary Assistant $17-$24 hourly, RVT $23-$33 hourly - based on CT experience and skillset.About You:1+ years of hands on CT experience requiredMinimum of 2 years of veterinary clinical experience in a similar role.The ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community.Maintain a positive outlook and ability to work well in a collaborative environment.Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected.Work Schedule:Full-Time: Monday-Thursday, 8am - 6:30pmBenefits:Highly competitive and comparable wages based on experience and skill set.Competitive Vet Assistant and RVT CE allowance annuallyLicense application and renewal reimbursement for RVT’sFinancial support and onsite mentorship toward pursuit of VTSHealth and wellness programs Opportunities for growth and advancement Full-time benefits include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurances, flex-spending accounts, 401(k), Employee Assistance Program, 3 weeks accrued paid time off, and uniformsEthos Veterinary Health is at the forefront of innovation and world-class medicine.
