Venturi, LLC A Chenega Company has a challenging career opportunity for an Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) Systems Analyst Principal who will join a team of smart, creative, and highly motivated employees who take pride in their work and in the mission and who enjoy developing, sustaining, and delivering world class solutions. This individual will serve as the lead responsible for all IMDS section products, deadlines, production, and contractual requirements. This position is located at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. Tasks for this position must be performed largely on-site, but later assignments may be performed remotely. Responsibilities Lead the IMDS team in assuring the integrity and validation of the range-wide IMDS maintenance documentation used across the Air Force and the Space Force Support and assist with Enterprise-level IMDS activities and decision-making on both Ranges (Patrick Space Force Base, FL, and Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA) Perform enterprise-level integrations such as inputting IMDS data, reviewing and training on Bench Stock, performing in-depth analytics on data integrity, restructuring Standard Reporting Designator (SRD) codes, and overhaulding Periodic Maintenance Inspections (PMIs). Support and assist with relationship-building with the customer to build trust in the IMDS department and its data products and reduce the company’s exposure to negative assessments Provide technical guidance to the IMDS department staff Present IMDS data and trends for interacting effectively with customers and leadership Create, submit, and post recurring Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) required on performance metrics analysis such as Preventive Maintenance Inspections and Reliability and Maintainability data Assist with the methods of logging, distributing, and tracking Job Control Numbers (JCN), Preventative Maintenance (PM) Schedules, Corrective Maintenance (CM) Data collection, and maintenance procedures Assign, maintain, coordinate, and review Work Unit Codes for entry into the Air Force Reliability and Maintainability Information System (REMIS) and Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) systems analysis Review documented maintenance activity (corrective and preventative) for accuracy, clarity, and timeliness. Gather maintenance data (corrective and preventive) for inclusion in and analysis of Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) statistics Work with maintenance personnel on the proper use of codes. Interact daily and coordinate with Government and RGNext personnel to resolve maintenance documentation problems Support and assist with delivery of weekly and monthly PM Statistics giving scheduled vs. completed PM actions. Provide Ad Hoc R&M reports and data analysis Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, education, science, math, engineering, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience Eight (8) or more years of experience working directly with the IMDS database daily The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship Valid U.S. Driver’s License or state issued ID Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to work independently with minimal oversight in a highly fluid environment, within a team and with other groups or customers Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations for analysis Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Strong degree of professionalism, excellent organization skills, and the ability to work multiple tasks concurrently and to switch between tasks quickly Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines; respond to short-notice requirement changes Flexible and able to adapt to evolving workplace priorities in a fast-paced work environment; can shuffle own work schedule to adapt to workplace dynamics Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills Experience articulating complex layers of interpretation from analysis of collected maintenance data Extensive IMDS experience as a user, maintainer, data collector, and data analyst Extensive experience performing critical thinking, analysis, job control duties, and/or problem-solving related work Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint and Excel Experience developing and implementing work processes and efficiencies Experience supporting a dynamic work environment Understanding range launch requirements, range scheduling, maintenance planning, engineering actions, operations activity, and their interrelationship preferred How you’ll grow At Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
