Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Press Brake machines, and performing various sheet metal fabrication tasks including forming and bending. You will also have the opportunity to operate other machinery such as punch presses and laser machines in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC Press Brake (Amada, Cincinnati, Trumpf).Perform sheet metal fabrication tasks including forming, bending, and shaping of sheet metal.Operate punch presses and laser machines as required.Read and interpret specification sheets, blueprints, and work orders.Layout and load materials using basic math and handheld measuring tools.Utilize computer output from CAD/CAM systems.Enter instructions, including zero and reference points, setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches.Set up mills and lathes.Maintain machines in good working order and perform lockout/tagout procedures.Understand finished product characteristics and rework procedures as necessary.Essential Skills3+ years of manufacturing experience in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment.Experience with metalworking and hollow metal fabrication.Proficiency with CNC manufacturing equipment.Dexterity with manufacturing equipment, basic power tools, and machinery.Ability to read and understand specification sheets, blueprints, and work orders.Proficiency in layout and loading materials using basic math and handheld measuring tools.Ability to utilize computer output from CAD/CAM systems.Proficiency in setting up mills and lathes.Knowledge of machine maintenance and rework procedures.Ability to perform lockout/tagout procedures.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment.Experience with CNC manufacturing equipment.Knowledge of rework procedures.Understanding of finished product characteristics.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This position is for the 2nd shift, working from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. You will be working in a dynamic manufacturing environment with access to various machines and equipment. The dress code is typical for a manufacturing setting, and you will have access to all necessary safety gear. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fontana, California.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
