Job Description The System Integration Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration and implementation of planned change activities within the network. They collaborate with engineering proponents to formulate method of procedure (MOP/CRF), assess risks, enforce compliance, and oversee the successful implementation of change activities. Additionally, they develop and review test plans, validate test results, and support post-mortem analysis to extract learnings and findings from failed activities.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborates with Engineering Proponents in formulating the method of procedure (MOP/CRF) for planned change activities in the network (Support to SMD CM and SICE Service Integration).
Reviews, screens, assesses, evaluates and approves the procedures for planned change activities in the Network (Change Execution Function)
Assures that received MOP/CRF are reviewed and approved on time.
Analyze and assess the risk of implementing a planned activity and its impact in the entire network (Support to SMD CM and SICE Service Integration).
Assures that planned change activities are received, reviewed, approved and endorsed for implementation on time.
Present and align Risk Assessment and Risk Mitigation for planned change activities for all systems to the stakeholders, activity proponent, activity implementers, system operations and front liners to ensure end-to-end handling and preparedness
Enforce strict compliance to implementation where it should go through test bed and PILOT implementation before deployment to minimize outages.
Schedules and endorses the implementation of planned change activities in the network (Support to Change Execution).
Decides in deferring or reverting a planned change activity in the network during Pilot implementation.
Assures the successful implementation of change activities.
Assures completion of partially implemented or failed activities.
Recommends in deferring or reverting a planned change activity during Rollout.
Develops and reviews System Acceptance Test Plan and Integration Test Plan based on the submitted BUR (Business User Requirements), SOC (Statement of Compliance) or TIP (Technical Implementation Plan) for all systems based on network design for all new services, new systems and system HW and SW upgrades.
Validates results of System Acceptance Test
Lead in finding solutions on problems encountered in the Acceptance Test. Validates results of IOT, UAT and iSAT.
Lead in finding solutions on problems encountered in the IOT, UAT and iSAT.
Supports, reviews and collaborates with other groups on planning the Network, integrating roadmaps of emerging core technologies and alternatives.
Reviews existing network setups, highlighting risk and vulnerabilities and suggest corrective courses of actions.
Reviews and support in developing trials plans (POC) and conducting trials for new adopted technologies.
Champions post mortem within 24 hours and extracts learnings and findings from failed activities and catastrophic incidents.
Proactive deployment of system patches to reduce risk of catastrophic outages triggered by system bugs.
Assures to deliver commitments on projects on time
Assures the successful implementation of integration activities.
Assures that the network has the latest SW level.
Assures that all change and integration activities are supported.
Follow through on initiatives after the implementation phase to ensure no adverse effects on services and subscriber experience
100% simulation of all changes on test environment to ensure 100% preparation and handling of 100% of change activities to reduce risks of unplanned service outages

Timely Review and Approval: Ensure that planned change activities' MOP/CRF are reviewed, approved, and endorsed on time.
Successful Implementation: Assure the successful implementation of change activities and integration activities without causing adverse effects on services and subscriber experience.
Risk Mitigation: Present and align risk assessment and mitigation for planned change activities, minimizing the risk of unplanned service outages.
Test Environment Simulation: Achieve 100% simulation of all changes on the test environment to ensure thorough preparation and handling of change activities, reducing the risk of service outages.
Post-Mortem Analysis: Conduct post-mortem within 24 hours of failed activities or catastrophic incidents, extracting learnings and findings to prevent recurrence.
