Micron’s Global Social Impact and Community Engagement Team is looking for a newly created role of Impact Measurement and Operations Coordinator. This role will be primarily responsible for supporting measurement and operations duties in support of the company’s social impact and community engagement efforts. This may include but is not limited to data collection, processing, and visualization, payment processing, and support of general business operations of the team (described in more detail below).

Responsibilities:

Impact Measurement, Evaluation, and Learning:  

Leverage existing tracking system for employee giving and volunteering that uses PowerBI and Benevity. Support system for tracking, reporting, and evaluating the social impact of grants and sponsorships on Micron, impact partners, communities, and end beneficiaries.   Support the development of processes and systems to generate the evidence and insights to support decision-making for new commitments and evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs.  Promote transparency and accountability to our successes, challenges, and goals.  Note: you are not responsible for ESG reporting. That is led by the Sustainability Team at Micron. You will be a contributor to this process and other regulatory led reporting as called upon by your Director. 


Payment processing and data entry: 

The coordinator will help manage budgets for operating expenses, grantmaking, and sponsorships. You’ll assist with an annual audit and quarterly tax filings of the corporate foundation’s 501©3, for which we have third-party service providers who conduct reviews and prepare returns, respectively.  

The coordinator will work closely with the team and other internal stakeholders to enable smooth and efficient payments of all company and foundation contributions and team expenses. This will include working within several different systems and completing duties such as: 

SAP data entry. Vendor set up data entry.Reviewing and completing grants platform payment cards. Reading and interpreting data entered into Microsoft Forms, SharePoint and Teams as well as Power BI and taking correlated actions per the process flows. Performing data entry accurately and on time.Ability to audit a myriad of details for accuracy, timeliness and compliance. 

 
Operations: 

Lead confidential matters with a high level of sensitivity and discretion, especially matters directly related to the team’s global priorities.  Develop and maintain strong company-wide relationships. Ensuring compliance with the company’s and foundation’s policies and procedures.  

Minimum Qualifications:  

Experience in Social Impact operations, measurement evaluation and learning (MEL), and/or data preferred.  Proficient in English, both written and verbal. Excellent time management, organization, and interpersonal skills. Consistent track record of effectively working collaboratively across departments and teams. Demonstrated track record of success in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with ambiguity and shifting gears at a moment’s notice. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong understanding of modern teamwork and product efficiency, Zoom, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and PowerPoint; Power BI a plus. Strong communication skills.Ability to work independently and problem solve. 5 years of experience.
