Knowledge of IFRS9: Familiarity with the expected credit loss calculations and IFRS9 regulations is preferred.Familiarity with operational or financial aspects of corporate and investment banking is preferred.Credit Risk Management: Understanding the credit risk management principles and practices.Experience working on data analytical tools such as Python/SAS or similar for data analysis.This role will be based out of Noida.
Purpose of the role
To evaluate and assess the potential impairment of financial assets, ensuring that the bank's financial statements accurately reflect the economic value of its assets.
Accountabilities
Identification of potential impairment triggers, analysis of relevant financial and non-financial information to assess the potential for impairment of financial assets, and application of quantitative and qualitative impairment tests to determine whether an asset is considered impaired.Assessment of the impairment loss for an asset by identification of the right valuation method, assessment of its fair value, and documentation of the process.Calculation of the impairment provision to reflect the impairment loss and prepare clear and accurate impairment disclosures for financial statements.Management of the performance of impaired assets and reassessment of their impairment status on a regular basis. .Analyst Expectations
